Farm Credit has been aggressively lending on IFQ since 1995. They also offer financing for vessel construction, modification, or purchase, and gear and equipment. Loan rates and terms will vary depending on the borrower's strength, with maximum of 15 years. There is no maximum loan amount. Other assets will be assessed as collateral. Such collateral includes real estate and vessels. The application is a standard one-page, with balance sheet and earning statements required, as well as tax returns for three years. Based on completeness of loan package, the turn-around can be as short as two to three days.
